A roof is a buildable structure in stranded deep. Also notice the build menu has a scroll wheel to getting to the bottom items. Roof pieces don t like walls up against them so a good building rule is always finish one level at a time and always build roof corners as the first thing when you get to it then walls half walls and finally the rest of the roof.

I may be doing something very wrong but either the new roofs are a bit too complicated to work with or it s bugged and needs some serious fixing.
